Attached is a picture of the approval notice. Does this mean we don't need / won't have an interview? I wasn't expecting this so soon as we filed late December. What we the next steps be? Will she get her green card soon and what will happen with the petitions for her EAD and AP? Thanks so much!

01/15/15 - Arrived at Texas Service Center (sigh...)

01/27/15 - NOA1 in hand

07/16/15 - Case was approved!

07/21/15 - NOA2 in hand

07/24/15 - Case sent to NVC

08/03/15 - NVC Case # Assigned / Case sent to embassy (estimate)

08/05/15 - Arrived at embassy

08/12/15 - Packet 3 received

What are the next steps? How long to get the green card after this? Will she even need her EAD and AP? Until she gets her green what can she do to show she has permanent residency?

The green card will supersede the EAD for work authorization. If she has the green card, she also can use that to enter the US again without AP. AP is just for those who need to leave the country while AOS is still processing.

wow the same thing happened to me today, my ead and advanced parole still pending however i got the same message for the I-485. i Guess congrats to both of us :dancing:

That is fast. What part of NC are you from? I was just curious if it would have been routed through Raleigh office or Charlotte office. We haven't heard anything about green card since the biometrics in late October.

K1 Visa

Thanks =). I am near Charlotte but I have no idea if it were routed through there or not. I feel really lucky right now. I have an app that notifies me if the status on the uscis site changes, and I got notified. I didn't believe it at first so I went to their website and sure enough, it was approved. They just changed it again, slightly. They changed the approval date from the 26th to the 29th (makes sense)
