Hi. I'm an Filipino-American and I'm a US Citizen since my father is an american. I havent been to the US. A year ago, I gave birth to my son and his father is a Filipino.. I wanted to get my son an American Passport but I dnt know if I can? Since I havent been to the US. And me and my family are planning to go to the US this April.

No. You can't pass on Citizenship to your child because you don;t meet the requirement. Here's the link to look at. You have had

The U.S. citizen parent had been physically present in the U.S. or its territories for a period of at least five years at some time in his or her life prior to the birth, of which at least two years were after his or her 14th birthday

Sounds that you can not pass on US Citizenship, you have never lived here. You can use your US Passport, on what basis will your husband and child seek to enter?

It's only me , my parents and siblings are planning to go there this summer.. and we wanted to bring my sons with us for the vacation.. I'm not married to my son's father.. What else can I do to be able to bring him there?

You do have a US passport right? Your mom filed CRBA when you were born?

Yes I do have an American Passport. And yes my parents did apply for a CRBA.. Im not yet married to my son's filipino father..

Child would need a visitor visa.
