So happy to report that my husband picked up his visa today... We are now shopping flights so he can be here asap!

There is a full update on my timeline and a review of the interview on Embassy review page!! All praise and glory to God! He sent this man into my life and perfected this entire process for us!

Thank you to all the wonderful VJ members that encouraged me and shared their stories and knowledge. Dwheels76, dear you will allways be remembered!

Congrats! :dancing::dancing::dancing: I Hope you find a decent flight. Lord knows I didn't...smh...lol, but it was decent in terms of some of the other prices I saw out there at the time.

Thank you... I know exactly what you mean! Since I dont know how soon I will see Nigeria again, I was deciding btw flying out to stay with him For a few and fly back with him or let him brave his first 12-13 hr flight alone! In the end we decided he should come since we need his ss card to file taxes. Booked a flight with dreaded Arik. He was adamant on a direct flight so although I have my reservations about that Airline after one terrible flight with them, he was ok giving it a try and the price was reasonable for booking so late.

I know how you feel, luckily I had just come back from Nigeria. But, please give him instructions! My husband flew through Amsterdam, then Chicago and he said he was so confused at both airports, with everything being so automated...he made his way through but with stories to tell! We were going to get that Arik flight as well into NYC but it ended up costing way more to get him to final destination so we opted for the flight to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Chicago and Chicago to final destination. And funny, he was adamant about a direct flight too but settled in the end...so good luck!
