Event Description

Embassy Review : I am forwarding the account written by my husband to me of what transpired during his interview which was scheduled for 7am Feb 11, 2016. From what I gathered it was not a negative experience in anyway. My husband was very calm and confident and answered all questions correctly. The CO was all business, which was expected but it would have been nice to have a person that was a bit more jovial in my opinion. CO maintained very little eye contact with my husband nor did he smile the entire interview.

So hubby's account are as follows...

Got to the embassy by 6am. Security checked me and asked to go to a certain corner where the queue will be created. Another security officer came around and asked that we should bring out all sealed envelopes and interview letter . By 6:30am we queued up . I was the 9th person on the queue . Got into another hall and was asked to go present my interview letter at a table and a brown card was given to me which they called the gate pass to the visa building . By 7:20am I was asked to stand up and walk into the visa building . We walked in and another security check scanned us in . After that we got into the main building. Opened the door and there was another security man who asked me to press a button B on a machine by the wall . A number came out and he told me that's my interview number that I should go in and sit. I came in sat down and another security man came to us and explained the procedures to us. First we get to submit all our original documents to some set of people that are more like Nigerians after that we wait for the American white men to interview us physically . At 8:am the consulars were on sit and started calling numbers . At 9am I was called to window 5 . The consular was more like an Asian young man .

He looked away and started typing on his computer . The he said so u met on Instagram and still use Instagram and I said yes and he said how about Facebook do u have it and I said yes . Wrote it down and gave it to him then he said I will place your application under administrative processing . I will hold on to your passport and will get back to you shortly .. *Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
