I verified via the CEAC website that status now says ISSUED :dancing:! Does DHL send tracking information if we selected pickup? And how long will DHL hold onto package once it reaches pick-up office?

Below is a link to the Jamaica Consulate reviews, I have my husbands full interview review there and you can find a ton of other VJ member's reviews as well... this will give you a good idea of what to expect at interview. Do you have an interview scheduled? I don't see that you've provided a timeline for your journey.

Hopefully you're case will be completed soon, the wait for interview in Jamaica can take sometime however but I believe it might be a bit faster for you since you're applying for a F-1 visa.

Called DHL today and they stated they don't have my husbands documents from the Embassy yet. How can that be when case has been in Issued since Monday and I know of someone that was able to pickup passport from Embassy on Tuesday... now it's Thursday and DHL still has nothing, what if anything can I do?

ANF2014, can you give me a status update? My husband has an interview on May 5th and I'm trying to understand d the time frame between the interview date and actual receipt of the visa....I know each case is different but want to know what someone else experienced.....please and thanks

His passport was ready pickup on February 12th, at the Montego Bay location exactly 1 week after interview. I was very worried at the time because status was issued as of Monday and DHL didn't email me tracking information until Thursday. Looking back I know I was anxious because I had already purchased plane tickets for us to leave on the 24th and was just nervous about the what if's. Thankful that it all worked out though and my husband has been home for just over a month.

Hoping that your husbands interview goes well and you'll be together soon :)! Let me know if anything else is needed.
