Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Hubby said interview was very smooth. Asked very few questions and didn't ask for any of the additional info I sent with him. His medical wasn't ready on his interview date so he had to send it in on April 1st and status just updated to issued today!! Took a little bit long but very grateful this is over and our life can really begin! Thanks to everyone for their support!!

Review Topic: F-2A Visa

My daughter and i was scheduled for 7:30am appointment on feb 26, 2015... got caught in traffic so were about 15mins late. we went to the front of the line and was sent in immediately (showed apointment letter and passport). We went through metal detectors ... I was given a number and told to sit down and listen for it... I waited about 10-15mins before my number was called... I went to the first window where I handed in our medicals, passport, pictures, my police record and was finger printed. First co asked.....who is my filing for me? What's my current address and my phone number. She told me sit and listen for my name this time. Another 30-40mins my name was callEd. Second co and I greeted each other (nice lady). She swore me in and I was finger printed again. She only asked me three question. have I ever traveled outside of the country? have i ever committed any criminal offence? and if my husband is my child's father. gave me a pamphlet about spousal abuse. Type something in her ... read complete review

The interviewer only asked a few questions: Who was sponsoring him, What my kids names and ages where, asked him about some traveling he did, about his divorce, then told him to tell him alittle about me. He told him all looked good and gave him a sheet to mail in his police report which he didn't receive prior to his interview. He also gave him a sheet that discussed spousal abuse once in the U.S. javascript:emoticon(''). Thought all was going well. M fiancÚ mailed in his police report he following Monday and it was received at the Embassy on Tuesday. We knew there would be some delay because it was the week of Christmas and the next week was New Years. We figured he would have the Visa in hand by the 1st or 2nd week of January. Well we didn't hear anything for all most 6 weeks, then my fiancÚ got a call Jan. 29th... read complete review
