Will I be denied?

Hey there, to make a long story short when we applied for the K1 visa in Spring 2015 we thought it was going to take awhile and we planned for me to move in around the end of Summer 2016. However we got our NOA2 way quicker than expected.

Since then, my fiance had to move out of his apartment and move back with his parents, he lost an internship that had promised him a job for months in October, he has been self employed for years (he's in the tv/media field) and his father refused to co-sponsor me at the last minute. We asked his sister and she also refused. His best friend proposed to do it but he lost his job the day he was going to ask for the paperwork that is needed

He has a promising interview this Monday which we are pretty sure he will get but the problem is that my interview at the Consulate is this Wednesday...I have all the papers needed expect a co-sponsor. Plus our NOA2 expired in October but from what I understood that didn't matter too much.

My fear is that I will be denied and we will have to start the process all over again...I also saw that they might give me a 221G for more time. Is that possible?

I think they will give you a 221g to bring back proof of sponsor ship. So you really have to find a sponsor.

Just carry on and do what you are doing. If they slow down your process while you are gathering the things you need then just be patient and work to get what is necessary. Be honest and answer their questions accurately but without spilling your heart out to them. Tell them he is working on getting a new job etc when asked. It will come together when it does. Be prepared with everything else you might need so that when asked, you have what they want.

I actually emailed the consulate last week and they replied to just come and they will most likely give me more time. I'm relieved haha

Yeah, they should just give you a 221g asking for a cosponsor. On the one my fiance got, it allowed him a year to send in a new cosponsors info and documents.

I had the interview this past Wednesday and actually I just realised I didn't get a 221g.

All I got is a paper that says ''Completing Immigrant Visa Applications by Mail'' (unless that's the 221g?)and the interviewer asked me to send in my fiancé's 1040 tax return or W2 and if I feel like it the I864.
