K1 in AP Status

Hello,

I wanted to inquire about this since I see people are put in AP(Administrative Processing) status pretty frequently after the actual interview. Since my woman is in Afghanistan, and I understand the risk of those countries and the need to due more security checks, do you feel like, because she is a female, they wont be as strict as if it were a guy applying for the K1 in countries like Pakistan or Afghanistan etc. and God Willing, she should receive her visa, a few days after the interview (as I am aware they no longer give the visa the same day).

PS: ( I fully understand why males are put in AP from these countries, not disputing that, but I am asking since its a female applying for the visa, hopefully everything should be quick)

Well it was a female there did the last attack in USA on a K-1 visa so i guess you'll never know

hey man,

I perfectly understand your concern about it, not knowing how long something will take is really nerve warcking for anyone. I am Lebanese, Male, and as you might know Lebanon is a middle eastern country, so they do frequent background checks here as well. I waited 2 months after my interview to get my Visa Approved (Interview date: Nov 24th ---> Visa Approved January 31st). I can't tell you enough how hard it was for me to wait, as well as for my Fiancee. But we finally got it, so as long as your fiancee hasn't any security problems, you guys will be fine, you just have to be patient and understand that it might be a long process.
