DS-230 form

Does anyone know what happend to the DS-230 form? I cant seem to find it anywhere, my fiance needs it to fill and turn in this Wednesday?

Its does seem to have disappeared but they should have sent one in the packet to them

yes he got one, but is it ok to print on it, rather then type? Is black ink prefered?

thanks, my fiance has decided he was going to write everything out, in black ink. I told him he better write in all capital letters because some times it is hard to read his writing. I hope he does a good job, because I'm sure they'll make him redo, if they can't read it.

Is the DS-230 Part I required for all K-1 Visas even though it says Immigrant Visa application?

So does the beneficiary fill out the DS-230 and the DS-156 to return both back to the consulate?

And then keep DS-156K to take with them to the interview?

Each consulate is different on what they want returned right away and what they want you to bring to the interview. There can be differences in requirements even between 2 consulates located in the same country! They will however list what they need from and what they want you to bring to the interview in the packet 3 checklist that gets sent to the beneficiary.

this is speaking for the embassy in Ghana, they told my fiance to fill out part 1 of ds-230(in order to get interview date) and then he will bring with him to the interview ds-156 and ds-156k. Yes, for the K1 these are the forms you'll use, even though it says Immigrant Visa application.

Like misa stated, the embassy will let you know the way they want it done, in package 3. I'm sure they all do it different, maybe you could ask someone going through Australia. Good luck
