Anyone figure out how to get CBC in the US?

I miss CBC and all it's shows, documentaries and of course Hockey Night in Canada. I've read CBC has some sort of copyright protection which prevents US cable from carrying it in any International packages (which seems to be the case for Cox in Ohio) and I've had no luck trying to find any kind of stream or anything. There's a great app for a lot of the shows (remember Being Erica?) but it only works in Canada. I couldn't get the last Hockey Day in Canada and it nearly killed me.

I'm fairly computer savvy so I'm hoping someone has a tried and true solution. Anyone?

Ah. I'm hoping to get a feed of the real time station. I'm not even that far away, I'm in the Cleveland area right on the lake. Canada is just right over there *points across Lake Erie*

Exactly how though? I tried and couldn't find a live streaming feed. What link are you using? I'm willing to pay for a subscription. I want to, I don't mind. It's worth it.

Current live feed.

I watch mainly the BBC, same principle, both have access through their web sites. I use my Chromebook, did get it to work on a tablet, use the phone for Radio.

Is that just the news feed? I know the news is available, I want the Toronto area programming like on the TV. Murdoch Mysteries is supposed to be on now lol

No, you are right, I did ten second of google and saw the "In just 5 minutes, you can be relaxing in front of all your favourite Canadian TV ..." and posted it and moved on.. Now that I look at the site they are selling only the VPN piece of it..

I can get that... I want the actual Toronto TV channel. Right now Bondi Vet is on. I don't want the news or those little video clips.
