I have a found a lot of relevant information about AOS on this forum, but I had a couple of questions I couldn't have answered. I hope someone could give me some help on my case.

I am currently living in the United States on my Student Visa F1's 60-days grace period (graduated on Dec/2015), and I did not apply for OPT. Through the DV Visa programme process, I was asked to fill and send forms I-485, I-765, and I-131 on Oct/2015. I checked my case status online and it said I will soon be receiving an approval notice receipt (from I-131 form), and a card (from I-765 form) on the mail. I already had my biometrics taken, but I have not yet heard anything from form I-485. I am single, so I am doing all of these processes by myself and from my own savings, by-the-way.

I was wondering if the card I will be receiving on the mail will be my EAD & AP AND if I would be able to work legally in the USA once I receive my EAD even though I haven't heard anything on my AOS form??

My 60-days grace period ends on February 15th, so I was also wondering if I would become unlawful if I remain in the USA after that while I wait for AOS.

I would like to thank anyone in advance for any sort of help, advice, guide I receive.

My 60-days grace period ends on February 15th, so I was also wondering if I would become unlawful if I remain in the USA after that while I wait for AOS. No, a pending AOS would supercede the grace period from my understanding.

I would like to thank anyone in advance for any sort of help, advice, guide I receive.

Are you adjusting through marriage? then yes, you are ok to wait past the 60 days as you were legally allowed in this country and you are ok to adjust status from your F1 visa. Just don't leave the country.

Thanks! I do hope you are right and that I don't get in trouble as I wait for a resolution on my AOS. Do you think there would be a high chance of it to be denied? I have read that my case would be completely lost if they haven't provided a resolution by Sept 30, 2016.

No. I am single, and I am adjusting because I enrolled on the DV Diversity Visa Programme. That's why I was wondering also because I have seen that most people adjust from F1 because of marriage, but that didn't apply to me.
