HI all.

I'm new to this site and still trying to take everything in.

I live in toronto and I'm from Ireland. I travel to Michigan ever 2 weeks and I am wondering once I have had my medicals and the interview and I receive my visa to travel to the us do I need to activate the visa when I cross or can I still travel to the us on my i94 visa and then wait for a few weeks to cross and activate my k1 visa.

Thank you in for all your help so far. I don't know how anyone could do this without the help from a site like this

~~moved to Canada regional forum from K1 process snd procedures~~

It's up to the CBP officer when you enter if they will ket you enter without activating your visa. It has happened but be prepared to be turned away.

I traveled back and forth from TO to Medina NY all of the time when my visa was issued, I just told the CBP agents that I wouldn't be activating my K1 visa until a later date and had no problem
