I know I asked this before, but could not find where my original post where it came from. I apologize for the redundancy....

Since my fiancee is now in a safe-ish place in Manila, where and when with whom does she change her address? On the 129-F I sent, was her family's address, but she had to abandon that plan, and they not going to forward her mail either.

I remember people saying she would not need to change her address until some health checkup or the interview, but this site says opposite:

"After the US embassy receives the approval from NVC (National Visa Center), they will send Packet 3 to the Foreign National Fiance."

https://www.usavisanow.com/k-1-fiance-visa/k-1-fiance-visa-faq/packet-3/

That tells me they going to send it to her.

I am waiting for NOA2 in the mail right now. I need to make sure she gets what she needs to in mail because if it goes to her family place, they will not forward it to her and just toss it. They will claim they will mail it, or already have, but will just sit on it. They not even sent her my Christmas card.

Thank you.

You should get in the habit of posting questions relating to the process in Manila on the Philippines forum, better source of answers: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

That website you linked isn't very well focused on the process in the Philippines that is for sure. I would not recommend using that site, next to useless. For the Philippines there is NOTHING of importance mailed out, packet 3 as it was referred to on that site is just a letter (of next to no value)

Follow the embassy instructions letter.

And anything else, like eligibility letters, etc.

As for mail. NOTHING of importance is mailed to your fiancee. Eligibility letter - I think they email that now

Address update - regarding the embassy and the visa delivery, have her log onto her account and update the address there.

Seeing it was related to K1 in terms of process (where forms sent, who change address with, etc), I posted there. That is why.

What account she logs into? I have one on USCIS which does nothing really.

Thanks for the rest of the info. Will try and keep this in mind.

You are past USCIS. It is USEM time.

Follow the flashing arrow below in my signature, all the other links and info are there.

Here is the site where you setup the account (this link is there too) https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Philippines

Green, I clicked that link and took me to a local place, to me in Raleigh, on medical doctors. The name resolution took me to http://uscismedicalexams.com/and advertised Raleigh doctors.

I found this confusing though, from the USCIS site: https://my.uscis.gov/

Hank, I will take a look at your links as well. Thank you. So many links places to get the resources, just gets confusion at time. I like one simple checklist with directions for each. Like getting separate sets of directions to build a car and you end up with a TARDIS.

The address change is for the Filipina, in the Philippines... USCIS isn't interested.

A TARDIS... I like that!

That site in my link is like a checklist, you start at the top and work your way down. You need to access most all of those links during the visa application process.

The embassy instructions letter is always a good checklist to use during the processing in Manila, I highly recommend using it as your checklist to completing the visa applicant in Manila.
