Hello All,

My fiance (e) is from Nigeria and was approved to pick up his visa. Now, we have to book flights, do we have to book round trip tickets or one way tickets inorder to enter into the United States? Also, once he arrives to the United States this month, we are planning to get married in March, but what needs to happen once he gets here?

With at Visa you don't need return ticket.

Purchase the cheapest. You can always cancel and not use the return flight.

Thank you, so he will arrive on the 27th and the return date is for February 1st. I just call the airline and get a refund?

Depends on the airline and if its a refundable ticket. I believe he should apply for a Social Security card.

If the one way is cheaper then get it but make sure you cancel the return flight of a round trip ticket so it won't cause you problems later as it did for others.

I doubt they give you a refund but you can try, at least if it was cheaper than the one way you still come out ahead.
