when to request expedite at NVC

Hello,

When is the best time to request the cr1 is expedited? Right now I've had the petition accepted at uscis on 17th January, but after calling NVC, they have still yet to receive it.

Should I wait until they receive it before requesting expedite or can I do it now?

You were approved 12/17 not 1/17. I got confused when you said you were accepted at USCIS. Okay have you even called NVC to see if your case is there?

You need to call NVC and get the ball rolling they will tell you what to do . You should have case# by now. So call.

Yes sorry December 17 we got the petition accepted. We called yesterday, and have called everyday for the last two weeks. They say they haven't even received it yet.

and USCIS approved in Decemer

Your case is moving a lot faster than most

probably the holidays are the reason NVC has not yet seen your case

if they have a current email ID for you, you may see the new case number faster there

Once your case is received by NVC, you can send in your expedite email. You don't have to wait for your new case number.

In your email, use the USCIS case number, Include the beneficiary's date of birth and country of birth, home address and 2 local phone numbers of the beneficiary.
