Hello all,

My brother is going to act as my joint sponsor only because I'm just $600 over the poverty line with my first job and the second one is seasonal and part-time so even though it helps out a bit, it doesn't look very stable so I'm not sure it'll help sponsor my fiance.
However, my brother thinks he should check "I do not intend do make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3" because we don't really need him to. We won't live in the same house and definitely don't expect him to give my fiance money.
But does this make his I-134 invalid?

Thank you in advance.
