My solo 212 was denied. Main reason as I can see is 1. Not showing enough remorse from my actions 2. Applying for the waiver a month after expedited removal (not enough time has passed showing reformation of character). I'm super sad. I have a 3 yo and husband in the US. Anyone know what I should do at this point?

Awww I feel you...

I filled a solo I-212 too...

Mine was accepted, but it seems that they don´t know what to do with it... I got a RFE a week ago and they didn´t understood that is a solo I-212...

Where was your POE?

My lawyer did for me and they accepted the letters and everything... (it seems)...

The reason denied is obviously too soon

there/s no appeal, go to FAM 40. (google)

You should settle a bit and be able to show

maturity, remorse & rehabilitation. DHS has

denied there's no going around it, but you

can ask an atty, I'd say hold on to your

money though.

As a Canadian did the atty you use not check

if the I 192 would have worked for you

There us an appeals process, they sent the paperwork along with the denial. However, my lawyer strongly advised against it because the likelihood of granted appeal is low and could take years. He suggested to try filing the 212 again with stronger arguments of reformation and showing the elapse of time with the proof that I am eligible for PR through my spouse since I went to the interview already.
