I'm just wondering if anyone else has been through this situation. I am the USC, my husband Canadian. Thanks to the Misinformation Line, he was out of status for about 1 year before we filed the AOS package. I'm starting to really worry about this b/c of our interview coming up.

Anyone else get out of status, but get their green card??? I did talk to an immigration lawyer and she said it was no big deal, but I wanna hear from somebody that went through it.

I know someone who was in the US illegaly for 10 years!

When he got married everything was forgiven.

The only bad thing about it is

that he cannot leave the country before getting the green card

whereas other can apply for the Advance Parole and travel while the application is pending.

Good luck and don't worry,

Anna

WOOHOO!!! This is seriously one of the best things I've ever heard in my life aside from my husband asking me to be his wife!

You made my day, my week, my month, maybe even my year. Thank you, Kezzie. Thank you so much for being here. (L)
