My Joint sponsor filled his 2014 taxes online, so the copy he gave me of his return is a long H&R Block package that includes the summary, the declaration for electronic filing, the 1040' and schedules, he printed this from internet and has all his info but also has a tag saybg "Copy Do Not File" and no signatures because is a copy.... can I send this or is risky and we need a transcript?
Thank you in advance

You also need any W2's and/or 1099's.

You would also need a signed copy of the tax return.

Discard all the pages that are not a part of the actual tax return and supporting schedules. Submit the rest along with the aforementioned W2's, etc.

How about 2012 & 2013?

Transcripts are free to obtain and it doesn't take a long time to get them. Transcripts are preferred and there is no need for any other forms, etc.

I have the W2's...
we are just sending from the most recent tax year.
I will ask the joint sponsor to order transcripts because what we have is 1044 with the watermark.

and e are sending recent paystubs as well, our only concern now is if the tax return e-filed would be accepted.

Agree with Anh map. Obtain tax transcripts for all of the tax returns. They are usually quick to receive, free from the IRS, no question about e-file, paper file, long file, etc.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
