You just need to include her on the I-129F form. G325a and photo are not required. When the I-129f is approved, your fiancee is illegible for a K1 visa and her daughter a K2 visa.

Great information , thanks. Can you tell me what in the world this means from the travel.state.gov website

"Separate visa applications must be submitted for each K-2 visa applicant, and each applicant must pay the K visa application fee"

Is this made more clear once the 1-129f is approved ? thanks

This is not difficult.

ALL the beneficiary's children, regardless of age or immigration intent (maybe they won't be coming to the US, doesn't matter) all are listed on the 129f form.

Then after NOA2 and before the medical and interview, while filling out the online DS-160 form, you will list which is these children are to receive a K-2 visa....and which will be To Join (come to the US with the beneficiary) or which are To Follow (come to the US within one year of the beneficiary's K-1 visa issuance date).

So for the To Join K-2:

You will schedule and pay for their medical to be performed along with the beneficiary.

You will pay the visa fee for them as well as the beneficiary.

They will come to the same interview along with the beneficiary.

For the To Follow k-2s:

When is it time for them to come to the US (must be within one year after the beneficiary's K-1 issuance date)

You will email the Embassy and schedule their interview.

Pay for their medical

Have them go to the Embassy for their interview.

Remember that if there is another parent listed on the child's birth certificate, you will need one of two things:

Either a copy of the death certificate of that parent if not longer alive...or

A notarized, signed letter from them giving their permission for the child to immigrate to the US, live their permanently and to travel back to the home country to visit and then return to the US.

Welcome to the forum.

At the start of the K1 visa process, the USC petitioner submits a I-129f visa petition, requisite documents, and I-129f visa petition fee (currently USD$340). Once the visa petition is approved by USCIS, the approved visa petition is sent the Department of State (DOS) for further processing in the K1 process. This part involved the alien K-1 fiancee(e) beneficiary, submitting their requisite documents, filling out a visa application (DS-160), paying a visa application fee, physical, and interview. and hopefully visa application approval.

To elaborate on what you have stated above: Each K visa applicant (K1 and K2) must submit a separate visa application (DS-160), and each K visa applicant must pay the K visa application fee (currently USD$265), and other requirements/forms specific to the interviewing embassy/consulate.

Do not confuse visa petition and visa application, they are separate and distinct parts of the K1 visa process.

HTH,

Good luck on your immigration journey.

That is for the actual visa application. For this you new two

The I-129F is the petition to be allowed to apply for a visa. For this you simply list the child on the form.
