I think its better to phrase this as...if Hillary lived in a Tribal Nation or Religious Monarchy. It doesn't have to be about Christianity or Islam, the fact is that these type of governments rely on religious texts to force their will upon the people.

It just so happens that in 2015 its predominately nations where Islam is dominant. If it were 1215 one could argue it was nations dominated by Christianity.

In all seriousness, I think the form of government has a least as much to do with it as religion. If you correlate oppression of peoples with the form of government worldwide (and throughout history), you won't really be surprised. When you try to do the same with religion, you might be.
