That's great news! Thanks for the update. Looking forward to this next step for us as well. Our approval was 10 days after y'all's. Blessings.

Faithua, was your USCIS center by any chance the California one?

Our NOA2 is also from Sept 21 but as of yesterday NVC has not gotten the paperwork. I talked to USCIS about this yesterday and when I mentioned that other applicants with September 24 NOA2s had already gotten their NVC numbers, they told me that different USCIS centers send their mail at different times and they process their batches differently. So its possible that the California USCIS office got delayed in sending the documents.

Anyone else from California having delays or getting their NVC numbers quickly?

Hi as of yesterday NVC had not received our paperwork (Sept 24 approval from CSC). I haven't tried today, getting my fiance to do it, if nothing i'll try again tomorrow.

So I followed your guy's advice on being persistent and decided to call them every 5 minutes today. After calling them 7 times today I finally got through.

They had our case and they told me that it was actually getting sent to London today.

Thanks for all the help guys!! Hope it goes well for everyone still waiting. (L)

Congrats Buffum, have you tried tracking your case at the DOS website and saw what does it says?

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

This is the correct website to check, right? https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

I copied this from another NVC post, thought it may help with some questions:

I think this happens at CSC from time to time. When I was waiting at the NVC stage, we were only waiting for about 3 weeks, but I know others were waiting closer to 40 days! TSC updates the myUSCIS account when the petition is sent, but CSC does not. It's like CSC gets stuck sometimes waiting for their "approval bin" to fill up before they ship all the petitions to NVC.

Keep calling and trying. I've noticed the best chance of getting the NVC case number is on Thursdays and Fridays!
