Expedite Request Approved :)

Hi :) we got the automated email the next day for the first time (we made two requets since they denied us the first time). And then for the second time, it took a bit longer but less than a week.

Hope it helps :)

I think you can actually ask NVC, they have it shown in the system.

When I called NVC, they confirmed with me by saying "yeah I saw your expedite is approved on xx/xx.

So how long did you guys have to wait for the confirmation email saying they had received your expedite request and would look into it? We emailed on Sunday and still haven't even gotten an automated email saying they have received our request.

Oksmel, good luck with your interview on the 19th.

Hello,

After I sent a letter to NVC I got a responce 2 days after that they forwarded my letter to DR embassy . I heard from Embassy 2 weeks later that expedite was approved. For some people it's 5 days to hear back from embassy. It depends.

Thank you! I am trying not to be nervous about the interview but I am!!

For me it took 5 days total.

Just to provide an update...no interview date yet...it is really confusing...because I received the P3 letter that tells me how to schedule an interview, however I never received an email response from them with the interview date. I did schedule the medical exam for my husband though.

Okay! I finally have an interview date with for my husband!

it took a lot of diligence and persistence as my embassy continuously told me that they are understaffed resulting in delays.

But it is November 18th and his medical exam is November 11th.

I will be following up.

Thank you!

I had all intentions of traveling too.

But with me submitting a medical expedite by way of financial hardship... it should be understood as to why I am not there.

Also, after all that back and forth with the embassy. They know not to mess with me. lol.

Plus I frontloaded, so I am certain they have everything they need except original documents.

Well, I don't think CO will know you expedited the case.

How you can be sure that NVC didn't loose some of your documents and the Embassy has all packages and all papers you sent?

Too much is on a scale at this time.

I would definitely travel for my hubby's interview, but the choice is yours.

My prayers.

Oksmel and Zaakirah, good luck with your interviews. Praying for smooth processes from here on out for the three of us and our spouses. God knows we deserve it after our fighting with NVC.

I don't think its good enough for expedite. So many people want to be together for holidays. I may need to address medical issue or financial hardship with proof attached.

But again, it depends on your embassy. I can try!
