NVC case number going for an interview

My fiancée and I are waiting to get our case number from the NVC. I noticed some people are saying I will receive a packet in the mail or an email with requirements/paperwork to do before my interview is scheduled but some forms say I will not receive anything. We are confused as to what the process will be from receiving the NVC case number to going in for an interview. Could someone tell me how this will work? I'm from the Philippines.

Some folks get a letter from the NVC, some don't. The important thing is to be proactive, contact the NVC and get the DOS casefile number.

Yes you do get a letter from NVC stating that they forwarded your case to USEM. I called NVC directly and they were able to give the case number over the phone. As far as requirements for interview, go to the USEM website and go into the visa page and then there will be a pdf file.

I got the NNC number now, My fiance got to contact them on the phone today and they give it to us, So what will be the next step?

Next steps:

• Pay the visa fee at BPI
• Schedule the visa interview (make profile here: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ )
• Go to the medical at St Lukes ( http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml )
• Schedule and attend CFO seminar, you can do this before or after you have the visa

• Attend visa interview
