Oh boy, my messages merged.... affects my OCD and my idea of keeping hard copy pictures and electronic Skype log in separate postings. :(

Anyway, where to begin with all this... am frazzled....

JamnSol, that be a good option, but I think cheaper for me to print photos than buy the ink and good photo paper. :) I may cut down the amount of photos to send them, but with the link of the videos, include the pictures I would have sent.

Pitaya,

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide, yes? See, every site will have different information. I forget where but one site mentioned no less than 50 photos.

PatGia,

I do not have the luxury of just gibing them unedited text. That is what is taking me lots of time.

Just, so much has to be removed for their benefit from all these emails. With the limited time I get, I am hoping to get a few pages of each done by the time some fresh printer ink comes in. I really want to get everything out next week.

Zedayn,

So send no links. Okay. I was expecting that if they needed more proof they could access it. As for printing a screenshot of a couple of videos, would they have to be in high quality, or can I do it on a regular tri color cartridge on regular paper? Also, for the landmark types, how about photos of us individually but both photos are sent in. Lots of photos are of us taking them ourselves. Have a few others took. And some professional ones, although my fiancee does think they are so professional looking.

It took me a while to get my chat logs condensed to one page a month, so I can understand that it will take you a lot of time as well. If you feel you have so much that needs to be removed from a particular chat or email, then simply don't include it. Your pictures are worth more than a thousand words.

The screenshot from your video needs to be of at least a decent quality that the stuff in the picture are easily seen and recognizable. It doesn't need to be HD quality or anything like that. Print these pictures out the same way you would print out your normal photos.

Do you have any pictures of you two together in them? You want to send photos of you two together in the same photo. Photos with just you two, and some with family/friends.

I submitted about 12 photos, and my wife and I are together in every single one of them. Some are just of us together, some are with her family, and some are with some friends.

Is the Philippines considered high fraud?

Not really. In fact the embassy is fairly easy to get approved at. My wife had no issues at all with getting approved.

The USCIS instructions recommend sending 2-5 photos. From months of reading and researching, it seems that USCIS is the lowest hurdle to clear, in that they only need proof that you have been in each other's presence within the previous 24 months. The higher hurdle to clear is at the consulate stage, where everything is scrutinized more heavily for evidence of a real and ongoing relationship. The I-129F submission and whatever else gets added by USCIS and the NVC are all that the consulate knows about you and your fiance before the interview. I think this is why some sites that I have also read recommend more photos and more information in the I-129F, so as to "front load", and give them some more information and history of the relationship in advance of the interview.

For the texts and messages that I sent, I obviously selected conversation excerpts that did not contain personal content. For you, it sounds as if you really need to redact a large part of your conversations. Are you continuously discussing state secrets and other things so private? Maybe just print out the email and use a sharpie to cover sensitive information.

I'm the Petitioner, she's the loud Dominican

Believe me, I really wish I could. I love sending cards and such. Our problem is she lives at the house she nannies at. Her employer not know of me and he is very controlling of her freedom, which they have very little of in Singapore. Her contract states "no relationships" and "no personal activities except Sundays." He can cause her a lot of trouble if he finds out she has a boyfriend. But come on! She is a slave at 38 in that place and she is leaving real soon, (after several years, but she had to work to earn something) so we still have to be cautious.

However, I have sent her things under my name when the family goes on vacation (but they send their friends to be guests in the house to still make her work) like flowers, gifts, birthday package. She has those envelopes, if applicable. I have the receipts (some paper, some electronic).

Actually, that raises me this question which I was going to ask tonight anyway... when I send in my 129 package with the copies of receipts, do I send pictures of the envelopes or packages she sent me? Is there even a reason to keep those?

guys !general advice: if you plan to get married keep sending each other physical postcards. technology doesn't really help when it comes to these things.

I completed one day or every month since July 2014 of Skype chatting and calls. 145 pages. I have not even gone to Viber logs yet. I hate to think I do a month per quarter and then they say I need to provide more. Maybe a day every three months? I read people send 10-20 pages of ongoing relationship. Anyone have suggestions to this dilemma? Zed mentioned they did one page per month. Pat did 30. So, with chat, shall I just skip some months now or do I need at least showing we chatted each month? Most of the time we do video, and I included a year worth of those calls on the document too (time and duration).

For my I-129 so far I have all my boarding passes from visits copied and 4 pictures per visit (so 8 so far). I'm going at Christmas which is when we will file it and I'll include pictures of us together at Christmas and again copy my boarding passes. I don't think they want to see evidence of ongoing relationship until she has her interview at the embassy?

You don't have to print the entire daily conversation for one day, if you are choosing to print one day a month. Pick a topic or something you talked about in that day and print that out instead. Limit yourself to one or 2 pages. Even at 2 pages per month you would only have about 30 pages total for Skype.

With the emails, I picked random ones spanning that time frame to cover 15 pages. Of course, I had to edit some content to keep things they not need read (like work stuff, personal stuff, etc).

Content is key, not quantity. Most relationships go through a normal progression....from getting to know about you discussions, to likes and dislikes, planning to meet in person, to becoming romaintically involved (I suggest including some lovey dovey stuff because that is how most couples who plan to become married talk), to planning the visa process, to planning a new life in the US. Your evidences, when all put together, should show examples of this progression. I drafted a two page Evolution of Our Relationship document which discussed these stages and referred to specific evidences that I included, like Skype screenshots, or receipts of gifts sent and photos with those gifts at the other end, to photos, etc.

IMs are more difficult. That is a lot of reading to filter stuff line by line, especially since I had to recover a year of it from a backup because until months back, did not know this stuff was even needed. So I am trying to filter so many messages of eighteen months. What is the limit? How much of this they want? Should I pick just one day of each month for a year? I still then got to read and filter a month's worth each time.

Content is key, not quantity.

I just can not copy and paste. Got to protect personal stuff and other people's information.

What info? What is so secret of other people that you discussed?

Family problems. Her employer (which will cause her problems with her police clearance). Names of people who detrayed us in life. Say, um, "sexy lovey dovey" stuff. I went through IMs and conversations that are there are not all that need to be seen to protect her. Most conversations on video. Actually, 95% of our conversations are on video, especially all the important bits. Texting is just random stuff. Of the IMs I picked, from randomly picking days and filtering out stuff, they are random chats. Some specific to something, others not. I got quality, I guess, but maybe not what they want to read. An the format the first year is in is mess since it was recovered from a backup.
I am trying to get all this done so I can file this week because she is finally quitting that slave job in December and will be living, jobless, with a family member until we can get her to America.
These people make it so difficult to bring two people together. Just not fair to do this to us. I only get a few hours a weeknight to work on this stuff and I been at it for a long while. I have no idea now if what I have is even going to be good enough.
<insert a manly crying face here>

What info? What is so secret of other people that you discussed?

I could not reedit my post.... I do not like forums where I am limited. :(

SUPPLEMENTAL.... I just removed all the time stamps and duration of our video calls. I will just place in my disclaimer (every piece of paper I be sending them has a disclaimer) and got it down to 53 pages. I will print that! I guess I am good with this, and will try to pull some Viber now, although mostly just stickers.

So, I guess I can still send them a day a month for the past 18 months without too much overkill.

I forget, but what about all the envelopes I have (2 or 3) from cards or packages she sent me? I do not have it all, like some boxes that had vitamins, but from a card and a package of shirts. What can I use them for? Just take pictures of them? Save them?

You're over thinking this a bit. You don't need all that relationship proof to file the 129f. I don't even think that a single photo is needed (I'd check but on mobile). USCIS is about proving meeting the minimum requirements of the visa and them weeding out giant red flags and ineligiblilies (history of domestic abuse, history of visa fraud). You need to prove your relationship to the embassy. So you have time to collect all this.

Some people choose to "front load" their 129f to USCIS with information intended for the embassy. Because if it arrives at the embassy from USCIS, they have to look at it (or so the theory goes. From our interview I'm not positive they looked unless they were testing us). But this is not required at this stage. Or at all, really. We had no chat transcripts, we thought our other proof was plenty and it was. I've also visited 9 times and our families have met and we have tons of photos and proof of face time and were at a so-called "easy" embassy and I was present so that was our thought process.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. 16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

As far as proof of ongoing relationship thing,i have over 100 photos prepared for the past 6 months including facetime screenshots, have tango call records, whatsapp chats (1st,15th and 30th of the month, engagement ring receipt, whatsapp call logs, text messages when he was still here for 3 months, facetime contact screenshot(coz there's no way to retrieve the call logs on facetime on iphone but just the recent call, neither on my macbook),conversation with his mom, conversation with his sister, his plane ticket, postcard from him,and picture of wedding gown..Would this be enough to prove we have ongoing relationship?

I will have my interview next week ,so anyone here experience anything about proof of ongoing relationship?

You have more than enough proof. It's good to bring all of that, but the pictures is what they will likely ask to see. We also brought a lot of paper evidence (chat logs, emails, phone logs, etc.), but the Filipina consul only asked to see pictures of us together.
