I filed our I-129F 2 days before I left to visit my fiance In England in October 2014 for a 3 month holiday. In November, while on holiday, I found out I was pregnant with our baby. We FINALLY got our approval (NOA2) exactly one month after our son's birth in August 2015 and my fiance received his letter from the US embassy in London one month after that. Does anyone know if I need to send him anything regarding our son's birth to take to his interview?

First CONGRATULAITONS on the baby

Second Send him copy of birth certificate but make sure the baby has been included in I 864 support even if you have to corrent it (if correcting one, has to be all 9 pages ) putting the case number in upper right hand corner of each and every page

anything you send to them include the case number in this fashion

Thank you so much for your congratulations!

I filled out the I-134 and my joint sponsor filled one out as well as my income doesn't quite reach requirement and I've been out of work due to maternity leave. Will I need to fill out I-864 when my fiance adjusts his status? I didn't think I needed one for just the K1.

Congratulations!!

You should look into getting a US passport for your son by way of the CRBA process. He will not need to get a K2 visa if he gets a US passport.

Check into the CRBA forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/154-consular-reports-of-birth-abroad-crba/

You should also likely check in at the UK regional forum for any CRBA pointers at the London embassy: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I've actually petitioned my British fiance to join me and our son in America. I didn't think I'd need a K2 as my son was born here in the states and we had started the process before I got pregnant. We're trying to get his Dad here from the UK. Sorry, I should have explained that I was back in America.

They will not need anything specific from the child at the interview. If the DS-160 asks for names of children (I forgot) then he can put in the details. Your I -134 can list him as someone you support. But for London, they will be looking at the other sponsor and you don't actually have to do an I-134.
