My case with NVC

Hi everyone, I applied for my wife on 02/10/2015 and got approved on 08/05/2015 by USCIS. But since this time I never heard anything from NVC. I already sent them email at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov . I tried to call them but thy always reject my call due of large numbers of callers.

I don't if anyone went through this. Any help would be welcome.

Hi, the NVC usually respond the emails after two weeks or more !!! I called them twice in the past during night time (after 8:00pm) because during day time it was impossible to talk to them.

Keep calling. I normally have to redial 10+ times before I finally get the menu options. Then you have to wait forever on hold to speak to someone.

Ok newbie, I think this is the best thing today. Also it's California time or eastern time?

Hi! My fiancé and I was approved July 10 and after 4 weeks we decided to call NVC. We never get through their hotline..it's always busy. We also tried sending them e-mail. I was surprised when I got the NVC 8 WEEKS after the approval (timeline said NVC only took 2 weeks) and they sent it to my address not the petitioner's address. Just be patient.

Keep calling, the best time we got through was night time. The process takes a while, we sent our application off in August and finally heard from the NVC in October!

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well. so my AOS fee is posted paid on 09/29/2015 NVC website, my question is how to pay my IV application? Do I need to wait a couple days before pressing " PAY NOW"? when I am pressing it, it always send me to the page where I paid the AOS. All your answers will be welcome to me. Thank you
