By the time I am done collecting all my evidence and documents for my I-751, it will be about 6 inches thick and about 15 pounds. I have been collecting all my monthly statements for joint electric bill, joint credit cards, this is starting to add up.

Do you recommend to submit a monthly statement of all of our joint accts to verify cohabitation from marriage up to submitting my I-751. Not to mention our joint lease agreement, auto insurance monthly payments, our joint auto loan, etc, etc., our Will of Testament, etc, etc

If this is what they want to see, I am providing it, but they will receive a big heavy I-751 packet. So any suggestions on this??

Thank you kindly

Honestly...we hardly have anything ..health insurance..and a joint acct we don't even use. He has his own credit cards. I have my own. I changed my last name to his. Mortgage company told me I can't add him because it would mean refinancing to a full doc loan and we wouldn't qualify because he doesn't have 2 years employment history. Honda wouldn't let me add him because my interest rate would have been alot higher because he has no credit history. His car is in my name because he didn't get a drivers license yet. We do have car insurance together. We need a new heater so he is going to try and finance it in has name. My credit is not so good and I got denied because I now have a car loan lol lol lol. So....its turning out to be not so easy to collect evidence.

Yes, I understand your situation, ours is similar, I retired 4 years ago and left outstanding credit card debt so hard to get a joint credit card, but we managed because of high paying interest rates to get them. Just try to be sure your utilities are joint if possible, and do a Will of Testament as him as your beneficiary, along with any insurance policies.

I wish you all the best, in the end , it will work out, if anything they will call us in for an interview to see us face to face, lol.

Good luck

Rigacek is right: wills/power of attorney are very good. Do either of you have a retirement plan at work or life insurance? List each other as beneficiary. Good luck.

We sent bank statements/credit card statements from about every quarter, not every month. That still shows that the accounts have been active throughout our marriage.

No, neither one of us have any kind of retirement plans to sign up for. Probably a will would be a good idea but everything I have goes to my kids...I don't think that would help.

I sent Bank Statements from all accounts with both our names.

I sent a bank statement for every 3 months throughout the entire two year period they requested, as well as lease agreements, insurance documents and bills for the entire two year period with both our names.

I was approved with no RFE and no interview; however my review office was Vermont.

It might depend on whoever is reviewing your case, but I would advise you to send any and every document that shows you guys co-mingling your finances.

My package was also several inches thick. I had to use a USPS box to mail.
