I have a quick question, our Bio-appointment was not updated on the case tracking page all that is said is that they recieved the payment but no word on the status of the bio is this normal?

thank you in advance!

Looks like its normal. Mine is the same way... no updates since the first update lol.

Yes, normal, because mine hasn't changed since payment for fingerprint was received. A waiting game ;). So I noticed the EAD/AP are about to enter into September (visajourney.com timeline). I think we will all start hearing something soon for those still waiting. To those who already have appointments for AOS. Congrats to all of you, I hope you receive your green cards soon. For me it will be a while, so I am just happy to be with my wife...at least she is here with me :).

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Yeah the wait for this part of the process is easier because we are already with our spouse. :)

Hello All

I'm waiting that I (at least) get approved on my EAD or AP. I haven't heard anything since my biometric appointment.

08/26: I've sent in my papers (AOS+EAD+AP)

09/02: NOA 1 (for I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131)

09/22: USCIS received my RFE

09/29: Biometric Appointment

and since then.... nothing. It's a little frustrating but I have patience.

My VJ timeline says "Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between November 2, 2015 and November 6, 2015" and "Based on timeline data, your AP may be adjudicated between November 1, 2015 and November 3, 2015".

I totally understand that this timeline is no guarantee. Still some ppl get approved way after I sent in my papers and that is even more frustrating because it gives me the feeling that something is wrong with my papers

However, I am very thankful for VJ and so many positive ppl here. At the end we all go through the same here and the support is very helpful.

I just hope to hear soon from USCIS

Sometimes RFE kind of make the proces slower, meaning you EAD might delate a little but don't loose hope, always be positive because if you got a RFE that means they are looking into your case.

Hopefully you will get good news soon!

I also sent my papers late August.. I didn't receive a RFE but I did get approved for my EAD last week. You should be getting an update next week or the following week. I've read on VJ that a lot of late August filers are getting their EAD approvals.

I hope so bad that something is going to change soon on my status :clock:

I just want to work. Obviously I know I have to wait for my interview appointment until maybe January or February.

The fact that I have to stay at home and have to wait just drives me crazy. I'm not made to be a housewife :content:

But I am glad to hear that other ppl her going through the same and feel the same about the whole process.

I hear you. I had to laugh when you said "watching tv" because I know this feeling.

I mean I am doing the household (really everything because I feel like I own it to my husband because he pays all the bills and I dont want that he comes home and has to do the household too), walk the dog, go to the park, go to the pool, grocery shopping, etc.

It's not like I'm stuck in the house. I have the chance to do stuff but I really want to be a part of society now, establish myself here in America and I miss to work and have a schedule in my life. Moreover I am not the type of person who spends my husbands money. Unfortunetaly, there is no other option right now.

I knew what I had ahead of me/us but honestly it is more nerve wracking that I ever thought it's going to be.

The mind game of waiting and hoping that you don't receive a RFE or get denied is frustrating.

Hehehe. For me, not being in a schedule or deadline or meetings with clients or just working is a breath of fresh air. I worked constantly (no breaks, just a week or two vacay once in a while) for 13 years before now. So am catching up on seasons i missed on series i was watching, i got to finish 3 huge puzzles, learn and practice more about make up, baking, cooking. Read new books. Got to play clash of clans. Hahaha!

Maybe after i finish this puzzle am working on right now i'll try coloring books. Hahahaha! :)

Coloring, ha, ha you just made my day ? That is really funny. I did the gardening stuff already, but I don't have a yard per say. It's really small and I used all the space already. I use Pinterest a lot. Read a lot of books, play candy crush, bike because I can't drive and any way I don't have driver License. O well at least we all can vent our feelings a little here in this forum. I feel like I just had coffe with my friends every time I visit this site.

God bless you all
