Packet 4 Photographs Requirement

Hi everyone,

I'm prepping for Packet 4 in advance of my interview on September 14th. One thing that is in the list of required documents is:

¾ Two photographs (in color)

- Do these photographs have to be strictly of me (the beneficiary)?

- Do they have to be passport-style photographs or can regular photographs work?

- If regular photographs work, do they have to be printed on photo paper?

- Do the two photographs have to be identical, or do they have to be different?

This is another confusing packet 4 section. In the packet 4 pdf that you'll only find by searching it, it says the photos should be passport sized. Most people just go ahead and do 4 passport photos before medical, two for medical, two for interview. But it is suppose to be two passport style photos of the beneficary/canadian resident.

Last I've seen though, it's suppose to be two passport photos.

Don't worry! I spend a ridiculous amount of time making sure I know as much as I can about this whole process. While it made it SUPER stressful in the beginning, the only thing I'm worried about now is planning the wedding itself and finding a dress LOL

The government pages are pretty awful, you have to sift through it all a bit to find helpful things.

Hi!

All pictures should be from you of course, (You are the one with a pending visa) identicals, passport style. go to a place and and do it. Why take the risk of having to resend them. Go very well prepared to your interview is better than being in black hole of waiting for them to look at your documents again.

They need to be passport format photos.

When I booked my appointment for the medical (the Montreal office) they told me that I needed to bring 5 passport photos. You'd think that for this whole process, they would have just had 1 photo from the beginning and shared that one electronically throughout. I bet the people at the pharmacy are getting suspicious of why I need all these passport pics.
