Hi guys

I really hope this is my last question for you all

So we have nearly finished completing our K1 visa form. Unfortunately we have had to tick yes to the domestic/family violence conviction question. 5 years ago, my love went to his ex-wife's house to pick up his son's medicine, there was an argument between them and she slammed the door in his face... he then began banging on the door. Unfortunately, she called the police and he was arrested.

Frustratingly he pleaded no contest and was fined. His court record says Class C misdemeanor for family violence.

We are going to send the certified court record (when we get a copy from the municipal court) and also the police record (when we can finally track it down - they all seem to say there is no trace of it! )

Is there anything else we need to do to help our application?

Will this slow us down a lot?

You're talking about the I-129F petition and not the K-1 visa application, right? There's a huge difference.

Sorry I should have been clearer, I meant the I-129f form
