I am a US citizen. My fiance is a Thai Citizen working in Sydney, Australia since January of this year. She on a working holiday visa there. She will be leaving in November back to Bangkok. She will have stayed a total of about 10 months in Australia by the time she leaves. We are looking at applying for the K1 visa starting beginning of October, just a month or so before she leaves back to Thailand. On the G325a, for last residence, I will have to put the address in Australia because that is where she will still be living come time to apply in October. My main question, will that matter for her visa processing location? For the I129f question 36 a and b, it has a note that reads "Designation of US embassy or consulate outside the country of your Fiance's last residence does not guarantee acceptance of processing by that foreign post. Acceptance is at the discretion of the designated embassy or or consulate." However on the I129f, I will have her residence as the Thailand address, because that's technically where her actual residence is, since she is just on working holiday temporarily in in Australia. When it comes time to interview and get the visa, is it going to be fine that she does it all in Bangkok, or will it be a problem and they will make her do it in Sydney? Please assist!
