Is Lewiston NY still a valid POE for K1

I have been searching to determine whether Lewiston is a valid POE for a K1 but I can't seem to find any reference to it after 2011.

I don't know if you called them yet but it should still be a valid POE. When I drove my husband down I thought to go to Lewiston because it might have been less hectic than the Peace Bridge and also because we were afraid to get an officer that didn't know how to process a K-1. Ironically when we crossed the Peace Bridge they didn't know how to do a K-1 but they were cool about it. I mentioned to the CBP officer that we came there instead of Lewiston to get it done for that reason and he said I probably would have had that happen there too. He also told us that they only had 1 lane open due to something and the wait was crazy, but as of 10/2014 it was still a valid POE.

I crossed over at Lewiston in June of 2012 and activated my K1 visa. It was a piece of cake. I was out of there in 45 minutes. When you cross just let them know that you are activating the K1. They will take your passport and send it thru a tube into the building. They will tell you to pull over and park and to go in.

Make sure that you take the "DO NOT OPEN" Envelope with you. This contains all of your paperwork that you submitted to USCIS and your medical.

They will take fingerprints and photos and stamp the paperwork. They should stamp your passport and put date of entry into as well as a card (sorry I can't remember what that was for) but keep that and make a photocopy as you may need that for your AOS application.

I brought a huge Uhaul with me and a very detailed manifest. The officer opened up the back door of the UHaul took a look for all of 2 secs and then closed the door.
