Scheduling K-1 interview

I paid the fee for the visa and when I went to schedule the interview, I got this: Do they just tell us when the interview is?

We got an email from the IV Unit of the US Embassy Moscow to go ahead and schedule the appointment (after paying the fee and registering the delivery address) on the ustraveldocs website.

Do you need to wait until you recieve packet 3 before scheduling? she's already gathered the documents needed for the interview, paid the fee, completed DS160 form. The visa package is suppsoed to arrive at the embassy on monday, so just trying to figure out how soon she can make the appointment, if she has to wait for the packet 3 from them or not.

In Moscow? There's no packet 3 really, but they won't let you schedule until they send out an email saying they're ready for it.
