In Iraq, I've a feeling people are used to seeing criminals hanging from street lamp-posts.

are you advocating such?

No. I pointing out that those people can only appreciate justice by seeing it done.

Why did they televise the Saddam trial and execution?

those people eh? kinda like you people?

Eh? Eh?

Eh?

eh? :P

...finally realize that the military does have strict laws.

I wonder if executing these guys would win us points with the Iraqis.

Wellllll.... according to some speculation here... it seems that Iraqi justice = death.. hangin from street lamps n all.

in other headline news... Iraqi AQ leader calls for more death for rape. Unless its its perpetrated in Pak at the decision of elders for a boys transgressions. Don't get that... when and where its ok... and where it's not. Hopefully one day they'll get it all together and be consistent in their stupidity.

What? I think anybody that rapes a child ought to have their piece chopped off. I truly believe that.

No sympathy for the rapist. Glad he was tried by the American military. erekose, this one had to be in house; a proof that we could try and convict our own on our own rules. Iraqis will hear about it; the country is a mess, but it does have TV and Internet when the power is on.
