Paying IV Application Fees Online

Hi,

We had a our NVC letter after our I130 application was approved for an IR5 application. It states that we have to pick a sponsor and pay the fees. We completed this and paid the AOS fee. However when I log in using our case and invoice ID, there is no option to pay the IV application processing fee?

When should this become available? I assume this has to be paid before we complete the DS260 application online?

Thanks,

Sean.

Hi - I just want to clarify what you have said. Are you saying there is a separate invoice for the IV Visa Processing and that I need to wait for that?

Yes, you get an initial invoice for the AOS fee and then after you complete the choice of agent and the AOS payment clears, you should get the IV fee invoice.

If you still don't receive after 1-2 weeks, then you can call NVC and they can manually generate one for you.

Thank you.

So do I have to send in the AOS paperwork before getting this further invoice, or do I send in all the paperwork with the IV application?

Hi Sean,

I was told by NVC helpline that IV invoice will be generated 7 days AFTER for DS261 Choice of Agent is processed and approved at NVC end. So you have to complete this ASAP for IV bill to be generated. It took two days in my case after the generation of the invoice to appear in payment portal.

Good luck to you.

Once you pay your AOS bill, you should start preparing your AOS, financial and civil documents. You should submit the documents so your 30 day clock will start. You should receive your IV invoice soon after paying the AOS fee and once you do that, you can complete the IV application online.

Hi,

I am going on the same situation here. Our case is like this; I paid the AOS and IV fee through mail and got confirmation through email but until now I dont see that they're paid already on the portal and it has been 2weeks now. I emailed the nvc yesterday no waiting for their reply. Should I just proceed in submitting the docs, while waiting for the IV ds-260 online?
