I'm so happy right now, words can't even describe :joy: She's just waiting now for the visa so she can book a ticket. It will be almost one year since we saw each other. I know I am lucky because our journey went rather smoothly (disregarding NVC issues), I hope everyone gets to be with their loved ones soon. Hang in there!

Service Center : Nebraska Service Center

Marriage : July 2, 2014

March 7, 2015: I-130 Sent

March 17, 2015: I-130 NOA1 received in mail

March 17, 2015: I-129F Sent

March 28, 2015: I-129F NOA1 received in mail

April 3, 2015: I-130 updated on USCIS website to approved! awaiting hardcopy of NOA2

April 14, 2015: Case was sent to NVC

April 18, 2015: I-130 NOA2 hardcopy received in mail

April 22, 2015: Case was received by NVC

May 1, 2015: Case number assigned

May 4, 2015 : I-129F NOA2 received in mail

June 2, 2015 : Selected Agent Via Phone

June 16, 2015 : Paid AOS and IV Fees Via Mail

June 22, 2015 : Wife receives Appointment letter from Manila Embassy (I-129F)

*proceeding with K-3 Visa instead. Cannot wait for the NVC problems to resolve

June 23, 2015: Interview scheduled for July 30

July 9, 2015 : Medical Completed

July 30, 2015 : Interview Complete APPROVED!!

August 16, 2015 : Received Letter from NVC that I-130 is being expedited to Manila Embassy.

August 26, 2015 : Manila Embassy closes K3. Proceeding with CR1 again. New interview date September 16, 2015

September 16, 2015 : Interview Complete APPROVED!! ISSUED on same day. :dance:

September 23, 2015 : Visa in hand
September 29, 2015 : POE

Wow! I have been apart from my husband 9 nights, and 10 days and I was miserable with little to no sleep! I still won't see him til Saturday morning! I cannot imagine being apart for almost a year like you have! Kudos for holding down the fort til she returns! Our case took almost 3 years to complete. He was approved on Monday and got his visa today, he will be on his way home tomorrow!

Thank you and I'm happy for you too! :) Yes, being apart is very hard. But it was the only way to go so we can continue on with our careers while not wasting time. The sacrifice has paid off though! Congratulations to you too !

Hi,

When did you submit DS-160? After you received packet 3.5 letter from consulate or before that? My K-3 has been assigned a case number at NVC but I don't know what to do next :(

02/02/2015 - NOA1 received, Nebraska Service Center

07/13/2015 - I-130 approved!!

07/20/2015 - USCIS sent case to NVC

07/24/2015 - NVC received

08/10/2015 - Case number assigned

08/13/2015 - Submitted DS-261

08/15/2015 - Paid AOS fee

09/01/2015 - Sent IV and AOS package

09/03/2015 - Scan date

09/09/2015 - Got DS-261 reviewed on call

09/10/2015 - IV bill available and paid the same day (currently "In Process")

09/11/2015 - IV bill status changed to "Paid"

09/15/2015 - Submitted DS - 260

09/28/2015 - Case Complete!!!

10/02/2015 - Received interview letter (P4) via e-mail (Interview date --- November 05, 2015)

10/13/2015 - Received medical report

11/05/2015 - Interview (APPROVED!!!)
