Well I have made it to 24hrs of not smoking.... wont say its been easy but I have done it.... lots of Cranberry Juice to help flush up all the nicotine and other bad stuff and being real strict with myself... I have not gone anywhere I would normaly go to smoke and if I do think about wanting to go I tell myself if I still want to go in 10 mins then I will... up till now I have forgoten all about it within 5 mins...

OH well thats the first 24 hours over.... here's to the next...

One week today for me with no smokes. This is the first time I've done it cold turkey without patches. I did go to one hour of hypnosis - not sure if it helped but it seems like it did because it hasn't been as bad as thought. Hang in there!!!

Stay with it, that first 24 hours is very difficult. I quit a couple of years ago after smoking most of my adult life so I know it can be done! I am a weakfish so if I can do it so can you. On a side note, a dear friend fo 30 years and co-worker is now undergoing chemo for 18 weeks and then will have a lung removed all from smoking so stay with your convictions to stop!
