Islamabad Consulate doubting final divorce decree [edited title]

My husband has been in administrative processing since 10 months at the Islamabad embassy in Pakistan, just recently he was called in for a second interview, the embassy is doubting his previous divorce certificate is legitimate, therefore, they are asking him to provide copies of the divorce notices that were sent at the time of getting divorce plus the ad that is put in the newspaper before a divorce is finalized, It is crazy because he obtained this document from the Union Council, this is the proper issuing agency for these matters.

I wanted to know has this happened to anyone at this embassy where they questioned the authenticity of the divorce decree and ask for this additional evidence and what did you u do to solve it?

My husband has been divorced for the past 6 years but needed it in official document, he applied for divorce in June 2013 and when it was finalized three months later, we married ten days after everything was finalized. I know that is very fast but his ex has been out of his life so long now, we just needed it in written that he was legally divorced. His ex wife left him, shortly after marriage, this was all explained to the embassy but they want all the proof that the procedure to obtain a divorce was done.

I have similar situation too, my first marriage (only nikkah) was done in 2008, and divorce on 2009, and i gave divorce on 50 Rupees stamp paper only that was the standard format for divorced on that time, after that i got my second marriage in 2012 and as per the US consulate requirement they need NADRA or UC issue divorce certificate so i applied for that in 2014 from Union consul office.

You need to explain them divorce can give in our religion on verbal basis as well not mandatory on paper also you can get 50 rupees stamp papers as witness of notice by the way notices served by UC peoples not by your side that's why getting this divorce certificate takes around 3-4 months.

For me this make no sense to ask the proof of notice your husband has nothing to do with his prior marriage ties. you can write the explanation letter to them as well.

have u received your visa? did they accept your divorce certificate? we did get the one from the Union Council, that is the only one we have but thats the one their doubting. I think its just to give us a hard time, they see 10000 divorce certificates a day, dont they know by now what is the proper format of this document, it is just to give us hard time.

Yeah i can see that they like to give hard time but this hard time you need to sort it out in order to get your hubby visa you should contact with UC peoples and find the solution.

I have not got my visa, USCIS request my wife for interview before approving the I130 petition.

Same happened to me at the time of interview CO had already my nadra divorce certificate. But they gave me white paper ask me for divorce certificate from union council new joint sponsor. All documents I sent to embassy via amex.after 60 days of submission I got email stating they reviewed and accept the documents.

Yes we did provide the union council one in urdu and englsih translated,
