Can my sister who is 100% disabled with military discharge co sponsor if she gets disability and ss? She gets above the 125% in disability alone with it being her and her son plus my booman. If she can what documents are needed to show proof? Also she had seizures so she has short term memory issues and trying to get her to remember where she put some of her documents is a bit difficult. She didnt file taxes so she does not have that and she has a mortgage on her home, if that matters. Please help as I am trying to send the papers as soon as possible.

As long as it meets the poverty levels required it's fine. She should receive something from VA yearly saying she gets the benifets and how much she gets. That's something she is also supposed to be givin the IRS every year to show she doesn't need to files taxes. That's as far as I can help, but yes it is possible to use....

Ok, thank you. I will ask about the yearly paper and pray she can find it. She has the decision paper stating how much she will be receiving.

Booman? Yes she can.

If she can what documents are needed to show proof?

She fills out a 134 form and includes all the necessary documents. You will do the same. You will bring both 134s and documents to the interview.

Also she had seizures so she has short term memory issues and trying to get her to remember where she put some of her documents is a bit difficult.

Can't help there.

She didnt file taxes so she does not have that and she has a mortgage on her home, if that matters. Please help as I am trying to send the papers as soon as possible.

Was she supposed to? Not filing for income taxes when you should is kind of a big deal.

My father is also on SSA and is not required to file a tax return. I went to a tax specialist and had her review his information to verify. The tax specialist also wrote a letter stating her findings, and my father wrote an affidavit letter that he is not required to file.
