Interview scheduled in Sydney, Australia?!

Hi All,

I am the USC living in Australia, petitioning for my Wife and two step kids to come to the U.S.

We just received the NVC Welcome Letter.... however, it says that after we submit all our documents, the interview wil be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or consulate in Sydney Australia.

That's on the other side of the country for us (we are in Queensland, a couple hours away from Brisbane).

Are there any other locations we can have an interview? Any way to change this to the Brisbane embassy (if there is one?)

Thank you,

There is no embassy in Brisbane and according to my fiancé and I's research, the only embassy over there to do the K-1s is the one in Sydney. My fiancé also lives in Queensland (a few hours from Brisbane). I wish I had better news for you because it would be good news for us as well. Congrats on getting to the final stages though!

This journey isn't easy...we went over many hurdles along the way... We are together now, 4 years going strong... It's never impossible, it is a matter of having the strength and love to conquer all things along the way!
