Hello,

Could anyone comment as to whether it's necessary to have memorized the dates one spent outside the US for the N-400 interview? Apart from having a general idea of the trips one took, is it necessary to know exact dates/periods spent outside the US? Thanks for any help.

How can you calculate days when you were outside of the US if you don't know trip's dates?

N400

12/06/2014: Package filed

12/31/2014: Fingerprinted

02/06/2015: In-Line for Interview

04/15/2015: Passed Interview

05/05/2015: Oath letter was sent

05/22/2015: Oath Ceremony

hi

no, but you will review the N400 with the officer in case there are updates. the officer may ask you about your trips, maybe the last one you took

You should know the dates since they were needed when you filled out the N400 form. You don't need to memorize them. They will have the N400 at the interview. If you take any new trips since you filed N400, you should have those dates ready and possibly memorized. But you can always wright them down.
