No processing time for MSC (NBC) case numbers?

My receipt number has MSC as the first three letters, which I read means it is the Missouri Service Center which is also called the NBC (National Benefits Center).

I checked the processing times on the NBC's USCIS page and it doesn't say anywhere that they even process Applications for Permanent Residence.

And on VisaJourney's processing time page, it says they are going the slowest... while every other center is processing ones from 2015 -- the NBC is still stuck in November of last year.

Now I am worried because not only did my fiancee visa take OVER a year for us to receive after we applied (which is already way over the standard waiting times)... but now we got stuck with the most incompetent service center for our Applications for Permanent Residence as well.

Can someone with more insight into this matter explain to me about this service center and its processing times? Or where I might find out further information?

MSC is the only department where AOS is being processed. You will either receive an interview waiver letter and wait for the GC

for about a year or you will get an interview in about 5 months or so and get the GC sooner.

Some receive a waiver letter and then later an interview appointment.

Settle in for a long wait, at least you did receive your EAD/AP combo card and can work.

But why does the processing time pages say that many centers are processing the AOS?

And do you mean I should get the interview for the green card in five months from the day they received my case? Because if that is the situation, then I've already waited for three months so that would only leave around two months remaining.

It depends what visa you are adjusting from. K1's are processed at NBC (MSC) but if they are selected for an interview then it is transferred

to the local office. If from other than K visa, it is mostly going to be processed by the local office. K1's often get an interview waiver

but as I said then it can take a year or more to receive the GC.

4-5 months from filing for an interview. To watch March filers 2015 a little more closely join this thread here but make sure you

observe the posts adjusting from K1.

They used to only list employment based AOS, but it seems they do not list the I-485 at all anymore.

You can check the times for your local USCIS office to try and get an idea of the timeline if you happen to get an interview. For those without interviews, it is backlogged and very slow. You can check the progress reports forum and check others timelines and progress to try and get an idea that way.
