What kind of police certificate my daughter should obtain NBI only? Is there any other police certificate or NBi is enough to submit at NVC? Is submitting a photocopy of it okay or original?

She'll need a Police Certificate if she lived in another country in the last 10 years for more than 6 months. If not SKIP.

NBI CLEARANCE (Green Form). Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance (for travel abroad purposes) from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names. An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of "No criminal record" or "No pending case". For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is valid for one (1) year from the date it was issued. The NBI website is http://www.nbi.gov.ph.

Photo copies are fine but bring all originals to the interview.

Police clearance is only for the embassy visa process... IF you have lived in a foreign country for 6 mos. or more from the age of 16 or older you will need to secure a police clearance from each of those countries. If you have never lived anywhere but the Philippines police clearance is not needed. I wanted to clarify this as your daughter will not need a PC because of her age.

Depends on the age of your daughter for the police certificate and how long she lived in a foreign country. As for NBI I believe that is age related as well. No photo copies! Originals ONLY!!

Remember USEM will want those as well, besides what you sent to NVC
