Good Evening everyone,

As you may know my interview is set for July 27th. I was going through my interview letter and I am pretty sure what to bring with me.

Only original document that I dont have is my Birth Certificate. It was sent to NVC in end of March.

My question is "Did NVC forward my original birth certificate to US Montreal Consulate?"

OR "Does NVC still have it, and I have to request it back from them, so I can take it to interview?"

At this moment I truly dont know where my original birth certificate is. Obviously I have copies of it.

Everything sent to NVC was forwarded to the embassy. So they will have your original but still have backup copy since you weren't suppose to send an original. Hope they didn't lose it. That does happen now and then.

Why did you send any originals to the NVC? Bring a copy of it to the interview and make sure to request it back.

I really hope the consulate have my original birth certificate. I will take copy of it for sure.

I have another question for you guys and I hope you can help.

I have read you had to register for some courier for passport return. Do I have to do that now?

Is this where you do it--- https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv/information/iv_services

It is telling me to schedule an appointment but I already have a date and time for interview.

Please help.

I did my research and got my answer. Yes you have to go and register https://ais.usvisa-i...ion/iv_services even if you have a interview date. Once you put your information, your interview date will show up by itself. And you can choose your loomis pick up location.
