An awful lot of people are being told their case is/was complete on 12th June... suspicious much??

Okay what's going on with the 12th June? Are they just lying to people? After having my congressman chase my parents' applications again and again with no response, they finally said the case was complete as of 12th June. It's 4 days later and I haven't had the usual emails I get when anything happens, are they just telling a whole bunch of people this date to get them off their backs or something?!?!?

SO let's have a poll.... who got told 12th June? :)

if your last name happens to be Polly that's really weird as that was my maiden last name lol but it takes around a week after case complete to get email confirmation . Their email system is so slow I got an email from them more then 15 days after the fact . I'd keep a look out for something this week . Edited by Morganalmonshid94

If it is exact 7 day delay in the emails for everyone, it's a timer job, not a human issue.

They probably put in a timer to keep things delayed.

Category/Country: Employment-3rd/Pakistan (Since Birth place is Pakistan, citizenship Canada)
11/04/2013 ---- Start of the pre-process
10/28/2014 ---- PERM Filing Date/Priority Date
03/23/2015 ---- PERM Approved
04/07/2015 ---- I-140 Filed
04/16/2015 ---- I-140 Approved
04/20/2015 ---- RCMP Report: Sent documents to Windsor Police. Will pick up results before traveling to Montreal
04/27/2015 ---- USCIS sent to NVC
05/04/2015 (May the forth be with you :dancing: ) ---- NVC received
05/18/2015 ----
NVC case number assigned
05/20/2015 ---- NVC email received with invoice

05/28/2015 ---- IV fee sent by overnight mail. (Since NVC system is down)

05/29/2015 ---- IV fee mail picked up and signed by * ****LEY

06/03/2015 ---- IV fee shows PAID, DS-260 completed, documents and pictures emailed to nvcelectronic

06/09/2015 ---- Scan date

06/09/2015 ---- Put on Supervisor review (1 week or 42 day wait start) - Police certificate missing. I was avoiding it till I go to Canada for interview

06/22/2015 ---- Talked to supervisor, she said since it is available from Canada through agencies even though they charge a lot, it is a must to obtain it. NVC review won't complete without it.

07/07/2015 ---- Police certificate sent in email. (received the email from commissionaire-ottawa)
07/10/2015
---- Case Complete (Also police certificate actually received. Also scan date of police certificate)

Note that my case is employment based, and since government already done thorough security checking on me in the past with my employment visa and NEXUS card, I think that clears my security faster than spousal cases.

08/11/2015 ---- Appointment scheduled
09/09/2015
----
Medical (Dr Lyndon in Toronto)
09/16/2015 ---- Consular interview (Montreal) - Approved. Visa wasn't ready at 3 PM; stayed second night in Dorval

09/18/2015 ---- POE - Detroit tunnel

11/05/2015 ---- Green card arrived in mail

Our case was complete on June 5 and to this day, we still don't have an email confirmation that it's case complete, the ceac website doesn't show the 3 N/As either, but when we called last Friday, June 12, they had already scheduled my husband's interview in London for July 1, and we DID get the email for that Sunday morning (US time), June 14.

4/28/15 - Called and NVC said supervisor had reviewed and now claimed that the decree absolute was not included. After disagreeing with the less than helpful lady on the phone, and her not being able to get the review time right. (She kept changing her story between 42 days and 30 days).

4/30/15 - Sent the same copy of the decree absolute to the NVC from the UK, highlighting the "decree absolute" wording with a letter stating that this is the only document provided by the UK government.

Thanks everyone! WOW, so soon to get an interview date?? Awesome! I wonder if it will be the same way for my folks! I'm hoping the Embassy in London is better organised than the NVC. It has to be right? You can't get much worse than the NVC lol!

We were shocked to say the least. :dancing: After all the calls to the NVC and sending in the same paperwork that they already had to finally get a complete and then a week later have the interview scheduled in 2 1/2 weeks' time, it finally feels like things are starting to move faster. Now to hope that they've fixed the issues with issuing visas before then, too.

Good luck!

Some folk for some reason never get an email. Don't know why.

I just added you to the case complete to Interview spreadsheet. Anyone else?

Dhweel tank u for adding me to d spread sheet.my question is this my police certificate will xpire in july ending will d embassy request for another one during d interview?

Don't worry about your police report. Many expire. The embassy knows this long NVC process. It is well. I haven;t heard since NVC has dragged this on them asking folk for new ones.
