Hi all,

So my dad is getting ready for Medical, Interview and CFO seminar.

His interview will be on July 9.

We planned that he gets his medical done on June 24-25 (Thurday -Friday) since I read there are less people on those days. And, it's 2 weeks ahead the interview, just in case he's not "healthy" enough and needs more medical stuff done.

They live 8 hours away from Manila and going back and forth is pretty expensive.

What is the best strategy he can do to save sometime and money travelling to Manila especially that he needs to attend CFO seminar.

Can he do this before departure? After medical?

Any thoughts?

Hello,

He can attend anytime but without the visa, he has to come back for the emigrant sticker in his passport. They wont issue the sticker until u have the visa.

I will suggest to just wait for the visa to be issued before he goes there. :)

Do you think it's okay to get attend the CFO seminar before departure? Like 2 days before departure...

Better to allot more time in case they ask for documents/info that he cannot provide on the spot.

How old is your dad? Check the age exempt from attending the seminar. He can go to CFO after he receives the visa.

With the new appointment system that CFO is using I would say to attend CFO after your father has his visa.
