Title says it all... If my work need me to do two weeks in New York is this visa going to get denied?

I see no reason for it since I can travel on VWP anyway but I obviously haven't told employer about leaving as it is still going to be another year or so till I leave. Thanks!

Presumably your workplace have organised work visa for you or were you not going to bother with a visa and risk getting thrown out of the US for working whilst being there on the VWP?

Getting thrown out would impact your CR-1 process but I can't imagine a genuine work visa having any impact on the process

I haven't agreed to it yet but i think they will organise all of it. I am sure it won't be a big deal.. just don't want them to find out that i am planning on leaving haha

Sounds like an L, but depends on what exactly it is. A L allows dual intent anyway.

Why would a company bother with L visa for two weeks of work? The process is wey too long, too expensive and there are too many hoops to jump through. They will either send him on VWP or B1.

B1 or VWP will not affect CR visa. However, CO can suspect that you want to enter prior to getting your CR approved, so there is a possibility of getting sent back.

He can not work on a B or the VWP.

L is a temp work visa, but who knows with so little info.

Cost is irrelevant, if it makes sense and they need him they will do what is needed.
