Noa1- June 30th. August 1st I got a notification that I am receiving a RFE. Pretty sure its about the IMB.

At least yours got handled fast. We're waiting for an RFE but nothing happened yet. It's been 54 days since our NOA1 receipt date.

Crossing my fingers that my NOA2 will be today (or at least this week). My timeline estimated July 28-30. At this point I'd even prefer an RFE so at least I knew they were working on it.

I feel you. :( So sad.

when I go to https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.doand put in my WAC# it says case was received, if the status changes from NOA1 to NOA2 will it reflect it there also? As in, will it go from Received to approved?

My fiance called NVC yesterday, the lady was very nice and double checked the WAC number with him to make sure the number was right, then told him, luckily in a good mood, that they hadn`t received it yet and to call back 35 days after our NOA2, which obviously we`re not going to do though we`re calling back tomorrow or Friday hoping for the number so I can fill out my DS-160!

Keeping you guys updated :)

I finally got an email today that I have an RFE coming to me in the mail. I think it's probably for my birth certificate because I sent a copy of my card, not knowing there was such a thing as a "long form" birth certificate. The good news is that I already ordered the long form and received 3 copies, so I'll be able to send back the original as soon as I receive the RFE.

I'm sad that it's going to take even longer to get my NOA2, but at least it's moving now.

We both did received our RFEs today so I guess we both have the same person working on our case. *kidding* That's just a guess. Well, let's just cross fingers that the notice will come soon and we'll be able to send back what they need overnight. Best of luck! Edited by Emmerald
