Hey there,

I entered the US with a K1 visa in Dec 2014 and received my EAD in March 2015. I am still waiting for my green card (Notice of potential interview waiver letter received in April 2015).

I have a question regarding work authorization form I-9 with my future employer (a bank) and more specifically 'Foreign national employee letter of assurance' form.

Questions asked are :

Are you a Citizen or Permanent Resident of The United States? Well I say no since I am in AOS

Nationality and/or Residency Status:

Country of Citizenship*: Date Granted*: Type of Visa (as appl)*: Date Issued*: Expiration Date*: Permanent Resident of*: Date Granted*:

And here I don't know what to say in type of Visa since they are not suggesting AOS. And for permanent residency country, well I don't know neither...

Any suggestions?

I would put K1 AOS and the dates of your EAD

Thanks! Compliance dept said to put Other in Visa (we can't fill AOS K1) with EAD dates.
